There’s a spark of light in the darkness

With this spark a faint glow is born

And this glow is getting brighter

And the darkness will soon be dawn

And the dawning soon becomes noon day bright

If you’re faithful to our goal

To conquer all that’s evil 

Armed with the Word as our sword

We’ve a song to sing to the nations

That the Lord who reigneth above

Has sent us His Son to save us

And show us that God is love

We’ve a Savior to show to the nations

With the Word as our sword

A vision to see, faith to believe

And courage to do the task

Our Hope is the crown that awaits us

Though tasks may be grinding and hard

We must train for the race set before us

When we run we must reach out for gold

There’s a battle in the horizon

And the battle must be won

We’ll conquer all that’s evil

We are armed with the Word as our sword
