In our aspiration to make our vision and mission a reality and our intent to successfully impact our beliefs and values, ETCP Luzon is governed by the following educational philosophy:

A. Educational Aim – Our brand of education has its ultimate purpose in the holistic personal formation of every individual toward Christlikeness and the transformation of every societal structure toward its original benevolent state. This sublime goal becomes the unifying core that molds every person, concept, method, strategy, and environment that engages in every educational process in the college.

B. Education and Truth – In the process of educating, we believe that God is the truth and the ultimate source of all truth regardless of its earthly medium. All truth is consistent with God’s person, Scripture, and creation. Every person can clearly receive God’s objective truth. Because of this, the utmost diligence of every member of the ETCP Luzon family through the help of the Holy Spirit is required in understanding the Bible, the witness and wisdom of the church in the past, and the situation of the present world.

C. Education and the Learner – we further believe that students should be treated not as empty, passive vessels to be filled but as active and capably competent agents to think, feel and decide for own self. Thus, our educational process deeply concerns itself with the balanced interplay and deep fulfillment of every learner's cognitive, affective, and psycho-motor aspects and needs of every learner. The learners’ intellectual hunger must be fed, his/her emotional thirst must be quenched and his/her craving for sensorial manipulation must be met so that true learning is genuinely achieved.

D. Education and Methodology – in line with the example of the Lord Jesus in imparting truth when He was on earth, ETCP Luzon adheres to a methodology that is born out of modeling. Mentors are expected to show how to pursue theoretical and practical knowledge through their actual life, thoughts, and speech. This is accomplished in and out of the classroom setting.

E. Education and Freedom – Within the bounds of Luzon ETCP’s beliefs, values, and philosophy, we pursue academic freedom to the fullest. Thus, our educational environment is free enough to give thinkers, feelers, and actors space for creative processes and open enough to stimulate creative interactions.
